Structural Engineering services for the design of the elevated pedestrian walkways, tunnels and an observation tower. The development of the area around the Port of Los Angeles was done to provide a green space buffer between the industrial port and the surrounding neighborhoods. The 97-acre site was transformed and includes a mixed-use district plus continuous open space. Recreation facilities and improved access were provided near the waterfront.
