In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Korean Church of Boston in 2003, the church was expanded upon to add facilities for a children's chapel. The new addition creates an open courtyard that joins with the street level and creates a more accessible plaza with the surrounding residential area. The new 2,400sf structure fosters a warm, inviting atmosphere with strategic openings in the chapel's skin to allow in direct and indirect natural light.
